Brentwood United Methodist Church, Brentwood, TN
Conference
Recap
Polyphony's mission is to "foster a thriving community of church musicians," and the energy and enthusiasm of those attending our recent conference in Nashville makes us confident we are building just that kind of community!
The 2026 Polyphony Music Resources Conference welcomed church music leaders February 5–7 at Brentwood United Methodist Church under the theme Breathe — an invitation to rest, renew, and reconnect. Featured presenters John and Charlotte Witvliet led sessions on Advent hope, cultural intelligence, and emotional healing, while Angela Carr Forsythe guided practical voice training for the choral rehearsal.
Add to these outstanding presentations daily worship times, curated anthem reading sessions, and lots of time to connect with friends, and it's no wonder the Polyphony community is growing!
Event Highlights
Thank you to all of our facilitators and presenters who shared fresh ideas and inspired us to thoughtfully consider and take home practical insights from our theme, Breathe. Your wisdom and passion enriched our conversations and deepened our understanding of worship and creative expression. We are also deeply grateful to the participants, whose full engagement and enthusiasm made this conference truly transformative.
Next year’s conference is in development and we hope to release information by early spring 2026.
